Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very warm, to the point where we had to leave a window open, but they were spacious and clean with all facilities in the bathroom. The service was friendly and quite chatty, although our dinner was not up to standard, the assistant manager assured us she would refund it. The location was good for exploring Essex and Hertfordshire, despite a wet and smelly environment at times. The dining experience offered a good selection but lacked consistent temperature. The facilities overall were decent, with room service available.
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, making me wish I could have stayed longer. The service was warm and welcoming, though I encountered a bit of abruptness. The location was exceptional, and the dining experience was delicious. However, there were some issues with dampness in the rooms and unhelpful staff at times.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the golf course and Stanstead, but some areas need improvements like a fresh coat of paint. The staff is a mix of friendly and efficient, with a few exceptions, and the dining experience can be hit or miss with limited choices. The grounds maintenance may require more attention to detail. Overall, it offers a functional stay but lacks some comfort elements.
